Opposites do attract, and there are 10 movie couples that prove that besides capturing each other’s, they captured our hearts:

1. Edward & Kim – Johnny Deep and Winona Ryder in the movie “Edward Scissorhands” as beauty and the beast.

2. Lewis & Betty – Robert Carradine and Julie Montgomery in the movie “Revenge of the nerds” as a nerd and popular sorority girl.

3. Melvin & Carol – Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt in the movie “As Good as It Gets” as an old misanthrope and a waitress.

4. Edward & Bella – Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the movie “Twilight saga” as a vampire and a mortal.

5. Blane & Andie – Andrew McCarthy and Molly Ringwald in the movie “Pretty in Pink” as the rich-playboy and a simple, modest girl.

6. Jimmy & Chloe – Jake Gyllenhaal and Marley Shelton in “Bubble Boy” as a boy in a plastic bubble and the beautiful girl from the neighborhood.

7. Joe & Jess – Parminder Nagra and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the movie “Bend It Like Beckham” about forbidden love between an orthodox raised Indian girl and a white football player.

8. Beast & Belle – or Beauty and the Beast in the animated film of the same name.

9. Josh & Susan – Tom Hanks and Elisabeth Perkins in the movie “Big” as a thirteen years old boy trapped in the body of an adult man and a young business woman.
